Yayyy, it was amazing! Really enjoyed it. A few random thoughts Great to stay at the lovely St Pierre again - and this time with new boyf so there was definitely a romantic element too, awwww. My sis and i had an 80s karaoke on the car journey down there and on the way home to get back into that 80s vibe. Still a thrill to see the actors - even those i've seen several times before - i'm still starstruck - and exciting to meet those i've never seen in the flesh before. My 13/14 year old mind would have been well and truly blown. Fantastic to meet up with RoS friends again and meet the lovely Tangwystl in real life! I'm on medication atm so can't drink - but i discovered 'bitter lemons' and seriously felt drunk on them. Loved the cooked breakfasts!!!! Much quicker registering as the desk was open on Fri night too as well as Sat morn - great idea. Lots more autographs for my annual - have 20 now Enjoyed little fangirl chats whilst getting them. James Coombs and Marcus Gilbert are my new celebrity crushes. Very entertaining and interesting panels and heaps of laughs including the mock John/Meg wedding - and the spoof script - v funny!! Yummy Christmas dinner type meal at the banquet and a good old dance at the disco - Jeremy and Marcus hit the dancefloor - surreal moment dancing up a storm with Edward and Lucifer - another mind blowing moment for my 13 year old self. The KOTA TRAILER!! Goosebumps a-plenty. Magical moment to hear those characters come to life again. Lights going on and off!!! Yet another surreal moment passing MP asleep on a hotel sofa - and yet again i can't imagine what my teenage self would have thought of this. The Michael revelation as discussed on another thread!! And the news that there will be another - 2018!! Woooppp!
Delish meal in the restaurant on Sun night, Francis's birthday, and the waiter brought out a surprise cake with candles, which i'd provided and we sang Happy Birthday - ahhhhh - he was touched. And then at midnight, a deliciously spine-tingling and eerie walk around the ancient church next to the hotel - the door still unlocked - very atmospheric. I was convinced I'd glimpse something supernatural.... then sat under the yew tree in the graveyard...
