It works for the segments in Cromm Cruac, but it's a bit of a pity that they couldn't film the other parts in the autumn. That said, it's practically Samhain now, and a lot of trees still have their leaves, and only some have changed colour.
Definitely! Films don't have time to develop all the characters, and other series seem to spend more time on the villains.
I must look out for him.
I've just looked at the cast lists, and they aren't the same actor. Maybe he plays someone else?
I always think he has a nice tan for an Englishman.
And a 'redhead'!
Is that where it is? They mention the location on the commentary, but I can’t make it out. Did it double for the interior of Kirklees?
It's worth checking out the Trail of RoS site to check things like this, there's a link at the bottom of our main page, as one of the affiliates.
Either Gulnar is trying to deflect blame from himself – or Anthony Horowitz didn’t watch the episode.
I still maintain that once Gulnar foretold it, he felt he couldn't change the future. And it was actually the oytlaws that killed Owen.
Some of the effects seem unnecessary to me. The story could be communicated very well without them, but at least they tried to do something different.
I'm fine with the slowness, it's the fact that they're fighting with hockey sticks that has me confused!
It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve seen RoS influences in LoTR. Think someone was a fan. Personally, the figures have a Star Wars influence to my mind.
Are you thinking of the Emperor? I think the way they're not supposed to have faces (apart from the one we can now see clearly in Blu-ray!) is definitely reminiscent of the Black Riders, who are quite probably inspired by something earlier in British mythology.
