I thought that it might be useful to see how the television episode order fits with the recent audio productions from Spiteful Puppet. Wherever possible citing references and source.
The TV episode order shown below makes the most sense historically and also from plot references, dialogue and character experience. I have also placed the audio episodes in a working order using information from Spiteful Puppet, the authors of the stories and character dialogue as appropriate.
The following points explain the reasoning for the positioning of the TV episodes which are at odds with the original UK transmission order. Also the audio episodes order which does differ in places slightly from some of the early Spiteful Puppet marketing announcements.
In series two, in The Swords of Wayland episode Marion talks about her father saying how he would love the outlaws, which makes a lot more sense before The Prophecy than after. As in that episode Richard of Leaford although with some reservations gives Robin and Marion his blessing. Therefore Swords of Wayland must be placed before the Prophecy.
The Sheriff is absent in Lord of the Trees and Sir Guy is acting as his deputy; Abbot Hugo mentions "And when my brother returns from London". In The Prophecy the Sheriff is still noticeably missing when Prince John visits Nottingham and Gisburne tells De Leon: "But the Sheriff is in Westminster". the Sheriff finally returns from London In the episode Children of Israel. It is either this or the Sheriff is a frequent traveller outside of the shire and absent from his duties!
In series three with the episode The Sheriff of Nottingham, Much mentions that De Rainault once tried to hang him, presumably referring to events in the Adam Bell story. In Rutterkin King John declares "Unrest? Oh, I'll deal with it -- and with De Rainault when he returns." With the the episode The Sheriff of Nottingham King John has the Sheriff dismissed and replaces him with Philip Mark. To reinforce this, Robert says regarding the Sheriff, "If he's got any sense, he won't try another public execution", which probably refers to events in the episode Rutterkin. So, bearing this in mind The Sheriff of Nottingham episode should be placed late in the third season after Rutterkin and Adam Bell.

Regarding the audios where positioning of them varies or is more detailed from the initial press releases of said stories;
The Trial of John Little has been confirmed by Spiteful Puppet as a second season story and references are made to events that occurred in the Enchantment which places it late in season two.
Sanctuary is likely to occur after the Witch of Elsdon, as the Sheriff is determined to kill Robin and both have a strong hatred for each other. Whereas in Witch of Elsdon the Sheriff seems quite relaxed at Robin being at liberty. But things are quite changed after when Robin threatens the Sheriff's life when trying to bargain with Gisburne.
The King of Sherwood episode is confirmed as being a first series story by Spiteful Puppet.
The Meeting Place is confirmed as being placed in the third series, I have positioned it mid season as it is quite a milestone in terms of character development for Much.
