Just finished Queen of the Black Sun.
Wow what a contrast to Here be Dragons
Think I will score it 8/10

A nice neat precise story. In a similar vein to HBD but much more in keeping with the style of a RoS episode. In many ways it reminds me of Crom Cruac. (ancient god, returned to wreak havoc on the world of men)
I have done a rather brief summary of the plot, which I will redraft as and when time permits.
An atypical violent storm unearths a cave in Sherwood . Due to their smaller size Marion and Much investigate a rather small hole. (Marion has also heard voices which makes her curious) Squeezing through a tight passage they locate some treasure and a Black Gem and whilst deciding what to do the storm returns (possibly due to some ancient magic) potentially sealing them underground Marion and Much get separated but just managed to escape. Although Marion seems changed and a little distant. Unknown to the outlaws she handles a black gemstone that crumbles to dust but taints her hands.
Trying to shelter from the storm and to rest from their encounter at the tomb, the outlaws shelter in another cave and sleep. Later when they awake Marion is found to be magically unconscious and can't be roused. Meanwhile a strange mist has fallen upon Sherwood.
Robin leaves to find Herne leaving the others to watch over Marion. He finds Herne who warns him he will have to face his greatest fear.
Meanwhile John, Nasir and Will leave Tuck and Much to look after Marion to aid Robin against the unknown enemy. However they are soon separated from each other and fall victim to the Mysterious Queen of the Black Sun, who uses the image of Marion, or potential enemies to catch them off guard.
Tuck leaves Marion and Much to get some water but also gets lost in the mist. Meanwhile Marion wakes, surprises Much who stumbles knocking himself out on a rock.
Empowered by Herne's words Robin returns to the others but encounters a cold figure resembling Marion, who is in fact Lunis, Queen of the Black Sun. She reveals that she was betrayed by the forces of light and then left buried and forgotten. By possessing Marions body she tries to tempt Robin, to forsake Herne of being able to rule the world with Marion at his side if he refuses she will kill Marion and then possess another. Lunis needs Herne's son as he is the balance between the forces of darkness and light. Marion is also resisting Lunis attempts at possession and seeing the conflict with Marion trying to break free Robin stabs himself with Albion to deny Lunis victory. Marion notices residue from her initial visit into Lunis' tomb and plunges her hand into the fire to dispel Lunis presence.
The essence of Lunis returns to her tomb and darkness and things return to normal as it nothing has happened. As if it were but a dream.
Reunited the Merries, Robin and Marion enjoy the serentity of Sherwood whilst conventional rain falls.
