Mark Ryan seems pretty busy at the moment. He's recently starred in the tv series Black Sails, a tale of pirate adventure, mixing characters from fiction with real life pirates. The main character is Captain Flint, played by Toby Stephens (who is a big fan of RoS apparently!), and Mark plays Gates, the quartermaster of Flint's ship, the Walrus. It's been getting very positive reviews, and you can watch it online if you get Amazon Prime (you can get a 30 day free trial of this), or it will be out on DVD later in the year. There are eight episodes, and it's been renewed for another season of ten episodes.
He has also worked on the latest Transformers movie (Transformers: Age of Extinction), that is coming out June/July.

We also learned from Jason Connery at the Hooded Man convention, that he's going to be in the next series of Celebrity Masterchef, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
People keep saying he looks like Walter White from 'Breaking Bad' - he doesn't in the flesh!!
